Wacky Worm

It’s hard to beat this time of year for bass fishing.  Love is in the water, so the bass are shallow and most of the time they are pretty easy to catch.  But there are times during the spawn, where the bass will not hit a fast moving bait or even a Texas rigged worm.   For these times, it’s hard to beat a wacky worm.

A wacky worm is simply a standard stick bait rigged sideways and fished very slowly.  It’s the perfect for bass that want an ultra-slow presentation and, best of all, it’s simple and easy to fish.  Check out this video from a couple of nights ago and give wacky worming a try.  You’ll be happy that you did.
